Hello, my name is Elizabeth “Whitney” Delohery, I am a proud native of Denver, Colorado. Born in July of 65’. I swear, the makings of a true hippie. Too young to remember much about Woodstock, but completely “there” in my childhood spirit and music roots. Music and singing have been in my heart and my passion since the day I hit the ground...crawling!
At age 18, the day I stepped out of high school, my goal? To sing professionally. I sought out the news paper articles looking for that “perfect band”. So you know how this story goes, off on the road I go! Many places, many bands and many years later, living and loving my music life. Meeting many wonderful talented musicians along the way. I have sung with my share of wonderful bands (and some “not so wonderful” bands) in my day, I would not trade a single one of these experiences for ANYTHING! Even had the most mind blowing opportunity to audition for and making it through to the second round on “The Voice”. Very proud of that!
For the past 20 years, I have been singing with the same talented musicians in a 70’s Classic Rock Band, called “The Bandits” based out of Boulder, Colorado. This also brings me to the fortunate pleasure of meeting the guitarist of this group, Mark Hubley, who then introduced me to guitarist, Isaiah Solomon, who then introduced me to their duo known as “Scrapyard Izzy”, my current music project....So far? so fantastic!!!
Music... in my soul, and my love to sing for you, (for as long as humanly possible), my travels, my entire music journey, my many experiences over the years, and my family..
my dreams come true!
Rock on in Peace, Love and Harmony.

Mark Hubley | Acoustic and electric guitars and vocals.
I have played since early high school years in Southern California, inspired by the music in the air of the 60s. In the 70s, I lived in a remote forest in Oregon and played guitar electricity-free for a number of years. This is where I learned that you can play Blues, Folk, Jazz and Rock & Roll all on an acoustic guitar by the campfire.
Then I moved to Colorado in 1979 and never looked back (There is much more sunshine in Colorado than in Western Oregon). This has been the home my wife and I have made our life and happily raised our three kids. I’ve been in a variety of bands, as a bass player, acoustic and electric guitar player and vocalist. I’ve gigged up and down the Front Range. In the late 90s I met up with Isaiah Solomon who is an accomplished musician and composer.
Our collaborations over the years have been very diverse, creative and fun. A few years later Whitney Delohery, an extremely talented vocalist and charming person became the 3rd member of our most recent venture, the trio presented here: Scrapyard Izzy, a dynamic blend of vocal harmony and guitar virtuosity that we are quite proud of! Through many years as a career graphic designer and film animator, I feel experience in these fields has afforded me the ability to focus creativity into each moment and detail of a piece, and I enjoy the challenge and accomplishment of providing musical craftsmanship and expression in my playing. Hope you enjoy Scrapyard Izzy as much as we do!
